My Grandma would be 'chuffed to bits'

Creative Utilitarianism . 1940's clutch, re-claimed wool, retro tea-towel, a much loved Bakelite button I've been hording for years awaiting for a good home. The Clutch was made to complement a pair of beautiful brown shoes I've been wanting a hand bag for. Thanks to Andrew Waburton http://www.arearugsandcarpets.com/ My friend Geraldine for the gift of the tea towels. Carrie Scott-Huby http://www.pinkmooninspires.co.uk/

Creating Harmony

Universal Harmonies was my response to a collaborative art project. I love taking part in collaborative projects. It allows dedicated attention and time to challenge yourself and develop professionally and personally. I was delighted to responded to Sound and Vision. Since being an under-Graduate I have wanted to develop the combining of the different disciplines I studied. I was fortunate to study simultaneously Visual Art/Textiles and Dance. From my early years I have had the great fortune to have such positive influences by way of creativity, science, nature and all practical skills in-between. I naturally view the big picture whilst paying attention to the small detail. Thus all this has the unveiling influence within my work.
